Background

Despite his wealthy upbringing, Fei chose to attend a local public school, disguising his true ambitions from his friends. While he appeared focused on his studies to become an engineer, there was a hidden pain within Fei that he concealed from others. The tragic accident that claimed the lives of his family left him scarred, both emotionally and mentally.

As Fei delved into the occult, his secret pain grew deeper. He sought solace in his research, yearning to uncover the mysteries of the other side, hoping to find answers that would bring him closure. But he kept this side of him hidden, burying his true ambitions beneath a facade of academic pursuits.

Fei's friends, Walter, Michael, and Gob, were unaware of the depth of his inner turmoil. They saw him as the studious and introverted friend, unaware of the darkness that consumed him. Fei longed to protect them from the knowledge he had acquired, shielding them from the harsh realities of the supernatural horrors he had seen.

Fei's secret pain fueled his determination to unravel the mysteries of the occult, even as he continued to hide his true ambitions from his friends. He knew that the path he walked was treacherous, and he did not want to drag them into the abyss of his own despair. But in the darkness of his room, as he crafted his devices and studied his books, Fei silently carried the weight of his hidden pain, hoping that one day he would find the answers that haunted him.

Tactics

Fei is a powerful but vulnerable Hunter with strong elemental attacks and useful crowd control abilities that are offset by his low HP and defense. Blind is useful to disable range attacks while Immobilize can keep melee attackers at bay. Paralyze is the ultimate emergency ability and can completely remove an enemy unit from battle for up to 2 turns.

Where Fei truly shines is in his high Occult skill that can be amplified with the Book of Shadows Augment. The Occult skill is necessary to successfully use rare Relics that can cause a wide range of mystical attacks and effects.
