Background
Tamara, the eldest daughter of a prominent major and a devout churchgoing housewife, found herself in a distant relationship with her younger brother, Walter, due to their significant age gap. Following in her father's footsteps, she joined the military, which only widened the emotional divide between them. While her initial two years in service provided a solid foundation as a combat medic, Tamara yearned for more significant challenges and an opportunity to prove her mettle, much like her esteemed father.
The fateful encounter that would change her life occurred during an ambush on the camp where she was stationed. Amidst the chaos, Tamara witnessed a lone Special Forces officer taking cover and bravely providing suppressive fire to shield his comrades. The piercing sound of gunfire resonated as the first bullet struck him, followed by two more rounds that knocked him to the ground.
In that critical moment, Tamara realized that valor and renown were not hollow words but required decisive action. It was the fear of failure that subdued most cowards, but heroism was a privilege reserved for those bold enough to act. Without hesitation, she disregarded her own safety and sprinted through the protective confines of a nearby building, leaping onto the wounded soldier. As bullets whizzed perilously close, the injured man stared up at her, mumbling of angels while slipping into shock. Tamara fervently prayed for him as she skillfully tended to his wounds. With unwavering resolve, she wielded his rifle and returned fire upon the insurgents.
Over time, the wounded soldier recovered, and a deep bond formed between Tamara and the courageous Blake. Their connection did not go unnoticed by their superior officers, who made the calculated decision to assign Tamara to Blake's unit. It served as a means to keep the duty-driven Blake focused on the demands of war. However, the revelation of a terrible truth about her ailing father compelled Tamara to request her discharge from the military. Unbeknownst to both command and Tamara herself, a surprising encounter awaited her at the bus stop upon her return home. There stood her former commander, Blake, dressed in civilian attire, ready to accompany her on whatever assignment life gave them next.
Tactics
Tamara is a capable healer, tank and front line fighter with high movement and Defense. She can stay on the front line and heal herself or allies with Combat Medic and then lower her own cool downs by melee attacking with Bloody Knuckles, which also makes her immune to all attacks of opportunity. Team player is a unique Interrupt that allows an ally to use an Action such as Gob’s Leadership of Fei’s Flame Thrower instantly, even if already on cool down. Potion of Amplification is a patented gas Tamara learned during her days in the military that creates a volatile reaction to anything that is exposed to the cloud. Using abilities such as Combat Medic, Flame Thrower or Morphine will apply to all units within the area of the gas cloud.
