Background

Despite Walter's success as a high school football player, he had no desire to be defined solely as a jock. Motivated by his father, a renowned Major, and his sister Tamara, who followed in their father's footsteps by joining the military, Walter decided to pursue computer programming and coding. His dedication paid off, earning him a scholarship to a nearby university. He was determined to forge his own path and not rely solely on his athletic abilities.

However, when Gob, a lifelong friend, returned with fantastical tales of ghosts and goblins concealed by powerful forces, Walter found himself torn. He wanted to help his friend, but he couldn't make sense of the outlandish stories. Faced with his own limitations, Walter reluctantly returned to his studies, praying for Gob's sanity and recovery.

Everything changed when Tamara returned from her deployment, abandoning her promising military career to pursue the truth. She shared shocking revelations with Walter about media corruption and government deception, affirming Gob's claims about the lurking darkness. Walter's perception of the world shattered, and his once optimistic future and well-laid plans crumbled as he lost trust in the institutions he had believed in. But in this moment Walter made two solemn vows to himself. He would not hide from the truth again, no matter the pain; and that he would never abandon his friends again, no matter the price.

Tactics

Walter is a powerful front line fighter and tank with high HP and a strong defense that is fortified by his Parry skill. Intervene and Pull allows him to control the battlefield and maneuver enemies and allies. Cleave allows Walter to attack multiple enemies around him at once but this will disable his Shield Wall Passive. Cleave does not target allies. Shield Wall gives all adjacent allies the benefit of Walter’s Parry Passive so it is beneficial to group vulnerable allies around Walter while this is active.
